At the moment of writing this post, the only way to get in touch with this blog is through a form on the contact page. I’ve already received a few spam messages through the form, so it’s a good idea to block any future unwanted messages.
I used Contact form 7 and it has a simple Google reCAPTCHA integration. Here’s how to set it up.
- Create a reCAPTCHA V3 key Your reCAPTCHA integration will be setup along with a ‘site key’ and ‘secret key’. You’ll need the two keys later.
- Once you’ve created a key, from your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Contact > Integration and under reCAPTCHA, click “Setup Integration”.
- On the integration setup page, paste in the ‘site key’ and ‘secret key’ and click “Save changes”.
And it’s done! You don’t have to worry about contact form spam anymore.
